The "With Thoughts Like These" Collection
(The Illustration & Penmanship of Random Fictitious Thoughts)
The "With Thoughts Like These" Collection by (www.kaponeisill.com)
"With Thoughts Like These" is a collection of 3 detailed illustrations of random fictitious thoughts inspired by "mind mapping" which was developed by Tony Buzan, who after studying the research of Dr. Roger Sperry came up with this system that is designed to integrate the processing styles of the the left and right hemispheres of the brain...When mapping, one is challanged to record ideas using not only words, but also symbols. In order to create a symbol one must use whole brain processing -- words and images.

My extensive research consisted of skimming through magazines, watching a lot of movies, reading comic books and gathering information in order to be able to come up with a crazy concept, and bring it's collective essence into visualization...The hardest & greatest thing about creating this collection is the
penmanship of the many characters, symbols and metaphors....I used 3 types of black ink pens (fine, medium & bold) and had to be extra careful not to let the pens bleed over the paper, as I would have to start the illustrations all over again (I only say this because I messed up halfway through the first illustration and had to re-create it from scratch.) This collection was inspired by the fact that "Everything in the universe is connected" and so every character, item, pill, gun, animal, robot, man, woman, sun, moon, waterfall & fish is surley "connected" in these 3 illustrations...Enjoy & Make Your Own Assumptions ;)
