| So I get a call from "Tiffanny", who is close friends with "Tatiana", who commissioned me to create her self portrait in early 2006 (see Tatiana's painting)."Tiffanny" wanted to create an art piece for her boyfriend and came up with the idea to paint a photograph she had previously taken...We linked up @ my studio, she looked @ my works, picked out a style she wanted the piece to look like, and then I started working on the piece...I usually ask to give about 2 or 3 weeks from the time contracts are signed to delivering the finished product. I loved the photograph and the abstract way it was shot, I couldnt wait to begin working on it, so I started and was finished in 1 week...It hung in my studio for about another week :) and a few friends stopped by my studio and actually wanted to purchase the peice... Overall, the painting came out looking very good and she loved it...Sweet! |
