(A Tribute To Keith Haring)
I got the inspiration to begin this series after watching a documentry on visual artist "Keith Haring". His "free flow" use of line in contour drawings & cartooning was fascinating in his quick execution during performance. Although my style is more "hard edge" and while growing up watching my Dad looking over architectural blue prints, I will always appreciate the concept of line. Lines, which can go from one dimension into two dimension, into three dimension (space) and even into a fourth dimension (time) to give life & form to anything created...from line. In this case, I'm using different combinations of colors, multimedia and black lines to create "Peace". Peace within everything I do (which comes out in my art), everything I say, and the deliberate choices that I make in this present now..."Peace of me".
