| "What A Waste" is an abstract, mixed media collection of 3 crazy characters inspired and adopted from the Spike Lee joint "Do The Right Thing". "LM", "Sweet Dick Willie", & "Coconut Sid" are 3 friends who in the movie sit under an umbrella in the hot sun behind a bright red brick wall and do nothing but drink beer, insult each other, talk about life and anyone who happens to pass by them. There was a scene in the movie where two police men roll by in a squad car staring hard at these guys...They stared back very hard and the expressions on their faces facinated me and so became the inspiration for this triple piece...ENJOY! | |||||||||||||||||
